Happy Ends

  • Ridley

We are THRILLED to announce our resident bear cub, Ridley, has found a loving, forever home! We will never understand why this guy stayed in rescue so long but sometimes, the long wait is worth it. Ridley now resides in Southern CA with his family and former CSPR Pei, Peggy, and is looking forward to new adventures. Ridley’s family have been adopting from us for almost 15 years!!

CSPR PSA: we are sharing Ruby’s update to not only celebrate her beautiful new life but to remind everyone that the dogs you see in rescue, in a kennel, may not show well. It truly takes a home environment for dogs to blossom and come out of their shell.

Ruby is a prime example of a hidden gem. She was overlooked for a year (maybe longer?) as she was afraid and didn’t show well when we had visitors. Look at her now – a happy ball of fluff who also likes to snuggle with the resident cat – something we never expected!

The moral of the story is, give our dogs a chance. Don’t judge based on appearance, open your hearts to ones that may look less than perfect, may appear to be a mix, may appear shy, etc. You won’t regret it 💕

We are beyond thrilled to announce our big boy Max has found his forever home! He will share his dad Scott with a Pei brother and is going to live a beautiful life in Oregon. Max’s dad came fully prepared with measurements of his doggy door to make sure our “curvy” Max could fit 😂. We love our adopters ❤️

We are so happy to announce that our gorgeous Brillo has been adopted! This lucky boy stole quite a few hearts and patiently waited for the perfect home to come along. We don’t see flowered Pei in rescue very often and Brillo’s inner beauty matched his exterior.

    Happy life, Brillo!
