Adopt a Shar-Pei

Well, now that I see this photo, maybe it is time to go on a diet. I guess I don't worry about it too much because I am not trying to impress anyone. My name is Abbie, and I came to Redding in 2007-it seems like this has always been my home. When I got here I did not respond well to women and snapped at more than one. I don't know why I did this or what in my past may have triggered this behavior. I did ok for a while and then all of a sudden it was as if I didn't recognize my foster parents who had been taking care of me and became very frightened all over again. I wish I could understand why I keep doing this, but in the meantime my foster parents don't think it would be safe for me to go into a new home. To this day, I will still not take treats from my foster parents hands-unless it's that deli turkey that we get as a real special treat sometimes. My foster parents say I have demons-I don't know about that. I know I'm well taken care of here and I am happy in my own little world that I share with Roscoe.
