I am another long time resident here at the rescue. My name is Cookie and I arrived from Southern CA in 2008. You can probably tell from my photo that I am getting up there in years. The good news for me is that I never needed entropion surgery, but I did have to have surgery on both ears. That seems to have done the trick for my constant ear problems. I guess because I was already middle aged when I arrived, I was always overlooked by people wanting to adopt. I know I'm not that cute, playful puppy, but my foster parents tell me my life is just as valuable, and that we can learn a lot from our senior citizens. I think they are starting to feel their age too. Anyway, I used to share my "house" with Amos until he went to the Rainbow Bridge recently. I'm on my own again, but I'm not ruling out finding a new man. I heard there's a new bar in town-something about Cougars...
